Hi, I’m Suzanne

Passionate about the value of offering a non-judgemental space to work together in

I do not believe that there should be a one size fits all approach. You are unique and with me so will your counselling experience be.

Because you Matter!

Thank you for taking the time to view my website.

Finding the right therapist for you can feel daunting; I understand that. It is so important that you find the best fit for you; I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Drop me a text or email and I will call you back for a chat through and we can decide together if it feels like a good fit for you. There is never any pressure from me and I will happily recommend alternative support if we feel that is more appropriate for you.

I am a warm and friendly counsellor based in Streethay, Lichfield, and believe the key to successful counselling is often the relationship between you and your therapist. I listen and will be guided by you and your needs.

I offer time and space in a safe confidential environment either face to face, via zoom, or telephone.

I trained integratively and work from a person centred core which means that I am client led and can draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to suit you; after all, this is your journey. My aim is to create a warm environment where my clients feel safe and supported to open up and move forward with their lives.

I have a great deal of experience working with bereavement and loss from my time offering long term support in a hospice supporting patients, carers and those bereaved. I worked for the NHS as Staff Counsellor for 2.5 years offering support to my NHS colleagues whatever their role is within the NHS.

I believe passionately in equality and diversity and offer a non-judgemental space for clients to bring whatever they need to talk about, the most common five words I hear in the therapy room are “You must think I’m crazy” I never do! If you are feeling it; it is valid. What can sometimes happen is the feelings get confused with the facts, I am feeling it so it must be fact, right? I will sit with you while you explore those things and find the tools and strengths that you undoubtedly have within but have perhaps forgotten along the way.
